Red hot sauce
What we need
1 tsp. red chilli powder
1/2 tsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. tomato sauce
How to make
Mix all above ingredient in a glass bowl and hot sauce is ready to serve. You can serve with momos.
Tomato Pickle
Ingredients:
Tomatoes
1 1/2 kg
500 ml Mustard oil
200 gm. Garlic cloves
200 gm. Green chilies
120 gm. Salt
200 gm. ginger wash and clean
100 gm. Red chili powder
50 gm. Cumin seed
30 gm. methi powder
2 tsp. Turmeric powder
1 bottle White vinegar
9-10 dry Curry leaves
How to make
–
Firstly grind Cumin seed, ginger, garlic, 1/4 cup vinegar. Make a coarse paste.
Wash and clean the tomatoes and dry it well. Then cut tomato into wedges. cut green chilli lengthwise.
Use heavy bottom steel pan to prepare the pickle, don’t use iron pan else pickle colour will be black.
Put oil in a steel pan. When it is hot put methi powder, then add curry leaves add the paste then fry a bit then add mustard powder, chilli powder and turmeric powder then fry for 3 minutes. Add green chillies and fry for 5 minutes. Add the chopped tomatoes. Mix well. Add the vinegar slowly. Cook, it till the oil floats. Then turn off the gas . cool it and transfer in the glass jar.
Note–
store in cool place self-life at room temperature 1 year.
