How to make Garlic Naan recipe
Firstly, ensure that there are no lumps in the flour by sifting it. In a separate bowl, mix the sifted flour with milk, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Thoroughly stir the mixture until bubbles start to form. Next, create a soft, elastic dough by adding enough water. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and allow it to rise in a warm area for around 4-5 hours. During this time, the dough will almost double in size.
Once the dough has risen, preheat the oven to a high temperature. Divide the dough into six equal-sized balls and sprinkle some flour on the board. Roll each ball into an oblong shape and sprinkle garlic over the dough. Roll the dough again to ensure that the garlic is well incorporated. Place the dough onto a baking tray and put it in the preheated oven. Next, carefully remove the bread from the oven using an oven mitt or tongs to avoid burning yourself.
After baking the bread, brush each piece with butter. This will give the bread a lovely flavor and a beautiful shine. Serve the bread hot and savor its delicious taste and aroma.
Note –
You can cook naan in a gas tandoor. If you want to make plain naan, follow the same recipe but do not use garlic.
