GUT-FRIENDLY KHICHDI THALI – LIGHT, DETOX FRIENDLY

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup Moong dal –
  • 1/4 cup Brown rice –
  • 1/2 cup Bottle gourd,carrot chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric
  • Salt – to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ghee – 1/2 tsp
  • 1 teaspoon Flaxseed powder – 1 tsp sprinkle after cooking

Instructions
 

  • Rinse and soak rice + dal for 15 mins.
  • In a cooker, add all ingredients (except flaxseed), 2 cups water.
  • Pressure cook for 2 whistles.
  • Sprinkle flaxseed powder before serving.

Mint chutney
• Steamed veggie sticks (carrot, beans)
