Potato croquettes
Potato croquettes is a delicious and easy finger snack recipe. make these potato croquettes for your tea party or kitty party for me it is perfect for any time.
What we need
½ teaspoon black pepper powder
4 boiled and mashed potato
½ teaspoon red chilli powder
2 tablespoon chopped coriander
1 tablespoon cornflour
½ cup mozzarella cheese grated
Breadcrumb for rolling
Oil for frying
½ cup cornflour
¾ cup water
How to make
In a mixing bowl combine potato, salt, red chilli powder, chopped coriander and 1 tablespoon cornflour mix well. Divide into 14 equal portions give ball shape and keep aside. In a small bowl mix, ½ cup cornflour and water whisk well to make a lump free batter. Keep aside.
Take one ball flattens it on palm keep cheese in the centre and bring all sides together and close shape into a ball or cylindrical. Now dip into flour batter and roll in bread crumbs.
Repeat the same step for all Heal oil in a frying pan deep fry on medium heat until croquettes become golden brown.
Drain on oil absorbent paper, serve hot with your favourite sauce I use to serve with chilli garlic sauce and green chutney.
Tips
Fry in small batches does not overcrowd the pan.
