Kachori is spicy popular snacks in India .easy crispy bread kachori recipe.
What we need:
½ Cup moong dal coarsely Grinded
2 Teaspoon cumin seed/jeera
1Tablespoon coriander seeds
3-4 Chopped green chilli
1 Teaspoon fennel seeds/saunf
1 Pinch asafetida
½ Teaspoon red chilli powder
1Teaspoon garam masala powder
1Teaspoon dry mango powder/amchur
16 Sliced brown bread trim of edges
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Method;
In a heavy bottom, pan dry roast moong dal powder on medium heat until the aroma starts coming. Keep aside to cool completely.
Now take a small pan heat 2 tablespoon oil once oil is hot add cumin seed, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, hing, ginger, chopped green chilli sauté for 1 -2 minutes and turn off the heat add turmeric powder stir .now add moong dal powder, dry mango powder, salt, red chilli powder, gram masala powder chopped coriander leaf and mix well. Take 1 slice of bread dip in water for a second and press with palm to squeeze off the water.
Place 1 tablespoon filling in centre bring all sides together press and seal kachori to give shape. Make sure kachori is properly sealed otherwise kachori will break while frying Repeat the same process with all sliced. Heat oil for frying place one by one kachori in hot oil 3-4 at a time fry until all side turns golden brown. Serve hot with green chutney.
