Caramel Kheer/Caramel rice pudding
Kheer is a popular dessert made with rice and milk. Caramel Kheer/Caramel rice pudding is another version of kheer carnalized sugar has given a unique taste and colours my suggestion is must try once and feel the difference. You will deffintle love this.
What we need
1 litter Full cream milk
½ tsp. Green cardamoms powder
10 Almond
12 Cashews
10-12 Raisins
12 Pistachios
1 teaspoon ghee
½ cup of sugar
How to make
Heat ghee in a pan adds almond and Cashews nut and roast until you get colour golden brown.
Take a heavy bottom pan and boil milk on high flame, when the milk starts boiling add soaked rice and reduce the flame. Cook until rice is cooked, and kheer become thick and creamy it will take around 30 minutes.
In a nonstick pan heat, sugar and stir on medium heat do not add water. Keep string until sugar starts melting. once the sugar is completely melted it will become brown now time remove from heat.
Add carnalized sugar into kheer and mix and cook kheer another 2-3 minutes
Add roasted nuts and raisins, cardamoms powder. Transfer into serving dish garnish with Pistachios. Serve hot or cold as you like. I like to serve chilled kheer.
